Woke up feeling a little better although almost completely deaf in one ear! Went down to the pool (I am not swimming) to watch Mag do her lengths as I sat in the Jacuzzi. Went to breakfast and as pancakes are on the menu I am glad I did :) Have a lovely chat with the dutch couple at next table. We set off on a trip up the Mountain to explore the only bit we haven’t done. The highest point of the resort, the Col de Balme at 2616m. The runs were really good even if it was a bit windy right at the top but a view to die for!! Had some fun on the Le Wraille, black run which is off piste beside a sheer cliff! After 3 hours the ear was really hurting so back to the room for medication and a lazy afternoon watching the mountains and reading.
